
Nemra attended Eastern Michigan University with a major in English, and a minor in art and music. She also attended Cedar Valley College for art and recording engineering. Nemra taught art and music at Christ Eternity Academy in Texas. She also was a substitute teacher for several years at Christian Schools of Springfield in Springfield, Missouri. Because of God’s grace, she has had a clown and puppet ministry, has been a church keyboardist for 30 years as well as a praise and worship leader for several years. She also has been a Sunday school teacher for ages 4-18 and served as a Missionette Leader.
She has written almost 500 songs and recorded and produced 26 album projects which consist of mostly original songs ranging from children’s songs to contemporary praise and country gospel. Her first album project, “Star Shooter” was recorded at Pantago Studio in Dallas, Texas in 1977 and she has been recording ever since. Nemra had the honor to sing at the 19th Dove Award in Nashville, Tennesee.
At age 17, Nemra directed her first play with a cast of 250 people, to help raise money for missions. In college, she directed her dorm choir, and won first place in a university competition. Since that time, Nemra has directed many school and church plays. Although Nemra performed in secular bands for 18 years throughout the United States, including in Hawaii and Las Vegas, she got saved in 1983 and has since devoted her life to serve God in music and in action. She has written Several books one which is “Candy Coated Occult,” a 250 page book about the seeds of occult in the church, and part of her testimony was internationally aired on the 700 Club several years ago. She has also written puppet skits and Her first children’s book Monkey Jake Goes to Work. Nemra was formerly a member of Clown Club Alley 85, the Gospel Music Association, and a founding member of the Texas Music Association.
